Helen and Rich got through the thirty-one tachi-waza (standing techniques) last week so this week they just have the fourteen suwari-waza (seated techniques) and the two hanmi-handachi (seated against standing). Whilst they get a good leg and core workout, the rest of us will do some gentle aikiken (Aikido sword) and work on our kamae (posture), tai sabaki (body movement) and maai (timing, distancing and positioning).
